Reflections MedSpa opened in March of 2007 as an additional service of Dermatology Associates. Under the direction of board certified dermatologist Monica K. Bedi, M.D., the MedSpa staff  is committed to excellence, results-oriented service, and the utmost in individualized attention.

What is a Medispa?
There may be some confusion about the difference between a spa and a medical spa. Medispas, or medspas for short, are defined first and foremost by the supervision and involvement of a physician in the treatment and care of its patients. Reflections MedSpa services are non-surgical (no scalpels, overnight stays or anesthesia needed), but still produce tangible results. These safe, effective and proven services include photorejuvenation, laser hair removal, sclerotherapy, Botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, in a spa-type setting.

Reflections also offers aesthetic treatments such as custom blended facials, cosmetic peels, and in-home maintenance with medical grade skin care products. Laws regulating the standards and requirements of medispas differ from state to state, but as a general rule, individuals performing these services such as laser therapy and microdermabrasion are licensed in their field and held to the standards and requirements of the state in which they practice.
